Tribune’s history

Tribune is a small community along Highway 35 in southeastern Saskatchewan, about 25 kilometres from the Canada–US border. It also sits along the Long Creek Railroad.

Tribune became a village on February 18, 1914, and ran as its own municipality for more than a century. On December 31, 2017, it gave up village status and became an unincorporated community under the Rural Municipality of Souris Valley No. 7, which is where it stands today.
